The Archaeological Museum of Drama is located at the city of Drama, in 2 Patriarchou Dionysiou Str.

The exhibition of the Museum is arranged in three halls. The first hall contains finds of the prehistoric and historic times originating from the cave at the sources of the Aggitis river and the Neolithic settlements (6500 – 3200 BC) found at the locations of ‘Arcadico’ and ‘Sitagroi’. In the same hall are finds of the Bronze Age (3200-1100 BC) and the Iron Age (1050 – 700 BC), when the worship of god Dionysus was especially widespread in the city of Drama and the area of Kali Brysi.

In the second hall architectural sculptures, pottery and coins are on exhibit dating from the Early Christian (4th -7th centuries AD), the Byzantine (8th -15th centuries AD) and the post-Byzantine times. In addition, visitors can see a photography exhibition of the city of Drama and the wider area during the Modern times until 1913 AD.

The third hall, a roofed atrium, displays architectural sculptures dating from the ancient times until the Turkish occupation, votive monuments, with a special reference to god Dionysus, and grave monuments of the Hellenistic (323-30 BC) and Roman times (30 BC-324 AD).
